OMG OMG OMG Steve got tickets to see Vikki’s all time favourite person live at The Apollo! To say she was excited as we headed to London was an understatement! With parking booked on some random driveway we left the car and headed off to find the venue.

A quick check on Google and Steve discovered we were very close to the Rick Mayall memorial bench so we headed over to that for him to have a seat before heading to a small burger place for tea. Glad we got there early as there was plenty of choice for food but it soon filled up with a queue out the door by the time we left.

Vikki nearly had the best named cocktail ever “Dippy Pink-Ting-A-Ling”, however it turned out they had run out of them so she opted for a far more boring “Botanic Garden” instead!

A quick drink, in a very busy bar, then we headed into the Apollo. The queue went really fast so not too long hanging around and we were in, grabbed a drink (Steve was a little confused by the handle for his beer) and found our seats. Absolutely fantastic seats, smack bang in the middle with a great view.

The show didn’t disappoint, lots of laughs and a great line up with guest appearances from Sean Walsh, Dara O’Brien, Adam Hills, Romansh Ranganathan, Judy Love, Tom Allen, Michael Ball and Alfie Boe.
