Hengistbury Head

A day trip to the coast was the plan so off we headed to Hengistbury Head. As with most of our road trips it wasn’t without a detour (or two!) After going off and back on the same junction of the road twice we then hit huge tail backs.

No traffic information showing on the car map was a hint there was possibly something up with the SIM. Apparently all information was fine…except for no active goody bag…the wrong billing address…and an expired card!

We got there in time for lunch, not the best food at the cafe but had worse. Lovely long walk up to the top of the hill, down the other side and back along the beach. Relatively incident free, apart from a rogue big wave meaning Steve ended up with wet feet as the alternative was shoving Vikki over!
